This 48 sheet, 70 gsm, unsized Hosho paper pad makes a great student sketch pad. Hosho is thick, strong, yet fluffy paper that is ideally suited for sketching and ink painting. Printmakers enjoy its absorbency, strength and versatility. Painters like it for ink washes, watercolor and lettering. Given it’s soft texture, Hosho can also be used to make rubbings. One side has a smooth finish and the reverse has a rough finish. NB: this paper is not pH neutral.
