Behind almost every marbled paper is a whisk, which is a small, bundled brush used to apply colors to the bath. Many marblers prefer to fashion their own whisks out of broom corn, a natural material that is perfectly suited to the task. Sold in ½-pound and 1-pound bundles. Length may occasionally vary. ½-pound bundle makes an average of 8-12 whisks.
