Synonymous with strength and stability, oak boards have been used as book covers for centuries. Milled to Colophon’s specifications in the Midwest with domestic wood, these white oak boards are quartersawn to maximize both its inherent stability and beautiful grain.  

Sold in pairs and available in a range of convenient, book-proportioned sizes. All boards are ¼ inch thick.  

NB: While quartersawn oak is one of the more stable cuts and varieties of wood, all wood moves in response to changes in temperature and humidity. As such, your boards may arrive every-so-slightly curved – see photo.
